Bring your stuff to HALL
Your photos and posts from other apps, in three steps.
- Ask your old app for a copy. Every big app has a “download your information” page. Steps for each are below.
- Wait for the email. It can take minutes or days. Download the file it sends.
- Open it here and pick what to bring. It’s read on your device. The file itself is never uploaded.
What comes over
Your photos become photo HALL posts with their captions and dates. They show on your photo grid, not in anyone’s feed.
Your posts (tweets, status updates, Reddit posts and comments) go to a private “From my old accounts” section on your profile. Make any of them public, or delete them, whenever you like.
Never: messages, other people’s comments, friends or contact lists, or photos other people tagged you in. Only what you made.
Videos don’t come over this way. Upload them in video HALL through the Creator Program.
Up to 1,000 photos and 20,000 posts per person. See the Privacy Policy (5g).
