Child safety standards
HALL, by Technites LLC, Orem, Utah. Last updated October 6, 2026.
HALL has no tolerance for the sexual abuse or exploitation of children. This page sets out the standards we hold everyone on HALL to, how to report a concern, and what we do when we receive one. It applies to every part of HALL: the website, the apps, debates, communities, messages, parties, voice and video calls, uploads, and HALL worlds.
What is never allowed
- Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) of any kind: photos, videos, drawings, AI-generated images, audio, text or links to it.
- Sexualizing a minor in any way, including comments, nicknames, role-play, or content that presents a child in a sexual manner.
- Grooming: an adult building a relationship with a minor to exploit them, including asking for photos, moving the conversation to another app, keeping secrets from parents, or arranging to meet.
- Sextortion and threats: pressuring anyone, especially a minor, with intimate images or the threat of sharing them.
- Trafficking or advertising a minor for sexual purposes.
- Sharing, requesting or promoting any of the above, or asking where to find it.
These rules are part of the Terms of Service and Community Guidelines. There are no warnings for them.
Who can use HALL
- You must be at least 13 to use HALL (14 in South Korea). Anyone younger is removed when we learn of it.
- date HALL and random voice match are only for people whose ID check shows they are 18 or older. A date HALL profile for a minor is removed on sight.
- Private messages, parties and HALL worlds are moderated by reports, blocks and HALL staff. Anyone can block anyone, and blocked people disappear from your HALL.
How to report a concern
- In the app: open the ⋯ menu on any post, comment, message or profile, choose Report, then Child safety concern. Add anything that helps us find the content. You can report without an account by emailing us.
- By email: support@thegrandhall.xyz with the subject “Child safety report”. Include a link or a username if you have one. Please don’t attach the material itself.
- If a child is in immediate danger, contact your local police first.
- You can also report directly to the authorities: in the United States, the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) at report.cybertip.org; elsewhere, your country’s hotline through INHOPE.
What HALL does
- Child safety reports go to the front of the line and are reviewed by a person.
- Confirmed content is removed immediately and the account is closed permanently, with no appeal.
- HALL reports apparent child sexual abuse material to NCMEC as United States law requires, preserves the related records for law enforcement, and cooperates with lawful requests from police and courts in every country where HALL operates.
- We tell the person who reported that we acted, without sharing details about anyone else.
- HALL is small and run by people. Reports are how we find what is wrong, so please make them.
The law
HALL complies with the child safety laws that apply where it operates: the United States, South Korea and Japan. That includes the United States reporting duty for online providers (18 U.S.C. § 2258A) and the age and reporting rules of each country. Where a local law sets a higher standard, we follow it.
Point of contact
Technites LLC is HALL’s operator and the designated contact for child safety. Reach the child safety contact at support@thegrandhall.xyz. Law enforcement can use the same address and will receive a reply from a person.
